Where to stay in Les Gets

A Savoyard village of wooden chalets at 1,172 m — small enough to walk everywhere, big enough to have a perfect spot for every kind of stay.

The four neighbourhoods

Most convenient

Village centre — Rue du Centre

Restaurants, bakeries, après-ski and most rental shops at your doorstep. The Chavannes gondola is a short stroll away, and the free village shuttle loops all day.

Ski-in access

Front de Neige

Right at the foot of the slopes: wake up, click in, ski. Ideal for families with kids in ski school — the beginners' area and several rental shops sit right here.

On the mountain

Les Chavannes

Chalets perched above the village at mid-mountain. Big views, direct skiing, total calm at night — best with a car or a taste for the gondola timetable.

Quiet & local

Mont Chéry side

The quieter side of Les Gets, facing the main ski area. Fewer crowds, gorgeous sunset light, and Mont Chéry's steeps a gondola ride away.

Good to know before you book

  • Book accommodation before September for February school holidays.
  • A 'ski locker' at your residence saves carrying skis every day — or pick a rental shop with free storage.
  • The free shuttle (Les Gets Bus) loops every 10–20 minutes in winter.
  • Saturday is changeover day: arrive early, collect your skis the same evening.
